Le Tea is committed to customer satisfaction. If you receive any product that you are unhappy with for any reason, simply contact us via our contact form. We will work with you to resolve any issue as quickly as possible.

Please note: We do our best to provide informative descriptions for all our teas. Due to health regulations, tea cannot be exchanged or returned.

Refunds

Refunds are offered on all faulty products.

Simply contact us via our contact form and we can provide a Reply Paid address for the faulty product to be returned.

Once received, we will happily refund or organise a replacement item for you.

Whichever option you choose, this will be organised within 5 business days.

Refunds are made using the payment method used for the original purchase.

Exchanges and Change of Mind

Exchanges or refunds are offered on all faulty items.

If a product is not faulty and you simply want to exchange it, we will happily do so provided it:

– Is not an item for consumption.
– You return the item/s within 20 days of purchase.
– The item is in re-saleable condition, meaning:
         -It is in its original packaging.
         -It is unopened/unused and in its original condition.

Please note that any postage costs will then be incurred by the customer in the event of change of mind.

Shipping & Deliveries

Standard free delivery in Australia takes 3 to 10 business days.

Express shipping takes 1 to 2 business days.

Please keep in mind that there are significant delays in shipping due to COVID19.

Frequently Asked Questions: Returns

What happens if a product is broken or faulty?

If you have a faulty or broken product, please contact us via our contact form as soon as you are aware of the problem, at which point we can organise a repair, replacement, or refund. The standard warranty across most products is 12 months. Please note that repairs are carried out by the manufacturer and not by Le Tea. In some cases, repairs are not possible. In such an event, Le Tea Society we will endeavour to have the item replaced or issue a refund.

What if I am not happy with my choice?

Please contact us within 20 days of purchase via our contact form. Please note: Food items are not exchangeable unless faulty. The product can be returned by post and we will happily offer an exchange or online store credit within 5 business days of the returned product being received by Le Tea Society.

How long do I have to make a return?

Warranty claims must be made within 12 months of purchase. However, if you have changed your mind and would like to exchange a product, please advise us within 20 days of the date of purchase.

Who pays for the return shipping?

If a product is faulty, Le Tea Society will provide a Reply Paid address, so that the item can be returned at zero cost to you. However, if the item is not faulty and you simply want to exchange it, then postage costs will be incurred by the customer.

Do you ship to countries other than Australia?

Not at the present. Currently, we have to adhere to import restrictions given that tea is classified as plant matter. This makes g shipping to many countries impractical. Hence, we have made the decision not to ship our products internationally for now.

How much does Shipping / Delivery cost?

FREE delivery for orders over $75 or more! For delivery under $75, we charge a simple fixed rate of $9.90.

Do you gift wrap?

Please let us know if our products are a gift. We can include a small complimentary gift card, so long as you write message details in the notes section. With the extra warning, we can package the gift as attractively as possible, so that the gift feels special for the person receiving it!
